Ms. Pabana Sitaula
Ms. Pabana Sitaula is the President and Chief Executive Officer at ANDC. She holds a master’s degree in Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She has contributed to various research projects focusing on the gender-based social discriminations and child labors. She has experience in journalism, content creation, and project management. Her research interest encompasses anthropology of social inclusion, identity, gender, child education and labor.

Dr. Binod Pokharel
Dr. Binod Pokharel is a renowned anthropologist, serving as the Executive Member and Head of the Research Division at ANDC. He is also involved as a professor and head of the Central Department of Anthropology at Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. He holds the position of M. Phil-PhD program coordinator from 2015-2017. Possessing a master’s degree in social Anthropology and a Doctorate Degree in Anthropology, Dr. Pokharel brings over 30 years of experience to his role. Dr. Pokharel has a prolific publication record, contributing numerous articles to journals and edited volumes both in Nepal and internationally. His primary areas of interest encompass anthropology of development, social inclusion, governance, and natural resource management. Notably, he served as the principal investigator of a state of social inclusion in Nepal research project from 2017-2020. Throughout his career, Dr. Pokharel has held various roles, including Team Leader, principal investigator of research projects, monitoring and evaluation expert, and research consultant. He has been actively involved in a range of projects funded by both national and international funding agencies.

Dr. Jiban Mani Poudel
Dr. Jiban Mani Poudel is Executive Secretary at ANDC. He is also involved at Central Department of Anthropology at Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu as a teaching faculty. He pursued his master’s degree in Anthropology in 2002 and a Doctorate Degree in Anthropology in 2016 from Tribhuvan University. Dr. Poudel has published several articles in national and international journals. He has also published several book chapters. His primary areas of interest encompass human-nature relationships, especially human dimensions of climate change, Himalayan livelihood, and kinship studies. He is a member of Knowledge for Climate, an interdisciplinary network for collaborative research and education, coordinated by the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Throughout his career, Dr. Poudel has held various roles, including Team Leader, principal investigator of research projects, monitoring and evaluation expert, and research consultant. He has been actively involved in a range of projects funded by both national and international funding agencies.

Dr. Man B. Khattri
Dr. Man B. Khattri is a Senior Researcher and Executive Member at ANDC and is adequately qualified with the master’s degree in social anthropology, M.Phil. in archaeology (specializing in ethno-archaeology), and a doctorate degree in anthropology with specializing on the ethnographic study of climate change. Dr. Khattri has more than two decades of work experience in the relevant field. Dr. Khattri has worked as Team Leader, and principal investigator of research projects in various projects. He has published numerous articles in journals and edited volumes. He is an Editor-in-Chief of Dhaulagiri Journal of Sociology and Anthropology (http://www.nepjol.info/index.php/DSAJ) since its inception and this journal is most regular and reputed in its field. Dr. Khattri has written a book as co-author. He has updated his expertise through various training and participated in workshops and national and international seminars. His area of interest in the Environment particularly in climate change, heritage conservation, development, social inclusion, and natural resource management.

Mr. Janardan Thapa
Mr. Janardan Thapa is Vice-president and administrative lead at ANDC. He is also contributing at the Department of Sociology/Anthropology, Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara as a teaching faculty. He pursued his master’s degree in Anthropology in 2003 from Tribhuvan University. Mr. Thapa has published several articles and book chapters in variousnational journals. His primary areas of interest encompass human-nature relationships, especially human dimensions, Himalayan livelihood, and kinship studies. Throughout his career, Mr. Thapa has held various roles, including Team Leader, principal investigator of research projects, monitoring and evaluation expert, and research consultant. Ms. Bimala Sitaula
Ms. Bimala Sitaula is Executive Treasurer and finance lead at ANDC. She is also contributing as a chief Human Resource Officer. She holds a master’s degree in economics from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal and brings an extensive experience of financial management from various reputed financial companies in Nepal. is an Economist serving as a Chief Finance Officer at Anthro Nepal Development Center.

Mr. Rewat Prasad Kharel
Mr. Rewat Prasad Kharel is an Executive Member and Head of Legal Affairs at ANDC. He holds a diverse educational background such as M.Phil. in Anthropology, M.A. in Political Science, and LLM in Constitutional Law. He is also serving as a lecturer of Anthropology at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Kathmandu. He brings an enormous experience of teaching and legal advocacy.

Mr. Sete Man Tamang
Mr. Sete Man Tamang is an Executive Member at ANDC. He holds a M.Phil. degree in Anthropology and Political Science from the Tribhuvan University. He has experience of quantitative and qualitative research, data collection, field study in Inclusive research in social sciences.
